if you've poked around the site enough, you might've encountered a strange .html detailing my progress on a certain project...
well! that project is the jouse 3's video! and it is my magnum opus! kinda!
...that is, if a magnum opus allowed time for not working on the project for months on end recording-and-editing-wise, and rather focusing on the much more fun to work on redroute, which is arguably the more important part of the project.
this is the part where i go into the specifics of the project, so if you want to read up on it yourself, i advise you pause for a bit and check debug.html, as it has the main hint to finding the page!

redroute is kind of a very personal project.
it started out as just a companion piece for the jouse when i decided i wanted to add more lore to this iteration of it, before snowballing into what is essentially a vent project.
think garn47 but with less gameplay and more reading.

anyways, uhhh, what are some more details about redroute i can share without getting too spoilery, uhhhhhh.........

i occasionally update that page whenever i make a new entry, which is usually on the non-canon side of things while i procrastinate hard on the last one i have to write before i continue work on the video.
while the characters have distinct personalities and traits, i intend for both them and general story of redroute to be very up to interpretation.
i've always enjoyed hearing people's own interpretations on various things, and seeing how much they can differ from my own.
while the characters are still based on something, i leave anything other than what is said ambiguous.
this is especially the case for one specific character, whose backstory is only briefly touched on in one small entry because of how strange he is both to the other characters and from a writers perspective.
honestly, one of my favorite parts of writing redroute was getting to hear my good friend gael's interpretation of it after finishing the main en- oh, wait, that's spoilers. i can't say that. sorry! they're cutting my mic now! i gotta g
